Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium

RFK Memorial StadiumDynamic Concepts, Inc. (DCI) provided project management, cable installation, security and bowl surveillance, audio visual system cabling, electrical and stadium lighting and signage services for Turner Construction’s renovation of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, DC. The work was carried out under stringent deadlines in order to prepare the stadium to serve as the first home of the Washington Nationals Major League Baseball team in 2005. After the team moved to a new stadium in 2008, the refurbished RFK Stadium became the home of the DC United professional soccer team.

Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

mlkjr-memorial.jpgThe MTTG Joint Venture, in particularly Turner Construction, chose Dynamic Concepts Inc. (DCI) to install, document, and test a complex security system throughout the four-acre site. The project created the unique challenge of assuring protection for this historic national treasure, but doing so unobtrusively so as not to detract from the solemn dignity of the Memorial or interfere with the contemplations of millions of visitors for decades to come.

DCI was responsible for installing, documenting, and testing all of the security system infrastructure, comprised of intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, duress alarms, a CCTV video managed intercommunications system, equipment cabinetry, and an uninterruptible power supply interface. To carry out the project, DCI worked cooperatively with 21 other contractors and subcontractors on a fast-track construction schedule.
