Pedro Alfonso inducted into the 2016 Washington DC Hall of Fame Society

WASHINGTON, DC (April 10, 2016) – The Washington DC Hall of Fame Society held its 16th Annual Legacy Awards Gala on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at The Liaison Capitol Hill and inducted Pedro Alfonso, President and CEO of Dynamic Concepts, Inc., as its 2016 Honoree for Business. With the Honorable Sharon Pratt serving as mistress of ceremonies, a total of thirteen people, were among the 2016 Hall of Fall inductees.

Since 1998, the Hall of Fame Legacy Awards has recognized District of Columbia residents who had an outstanding impact on the city and individuals from the Greater Washington area who have contributed to the city in many ways. Mayor Muriel Bowser and Councilman Vincent Orange were among the several hundred guests who attended the gala.

The 2016 inductees have established neighborhood programs, led innovative projects and made other innovations, which have resulted in improvements in schools and communities, enhancing the quality of life for DC residents.
